What is the customer sign-up process?

Just like contractors, Cohord clients have an opportunity to meet with the onboarding team to discuss anticipated benches, hiring and hone in on typical hiring patterns and profiles. This is recommended and useful for conversations with Scout.

What does the monthly subscription cover?

Unlimited searches for new contractors via Scout and a generous allocation of contractors for 2 Benches. By Benching a contractor, you will see their live-time updates (rate, new experiences, precise availability - including holidays, and many more datapoints). Messaging is included and, for now, scheduling and booking is included.

How do I import my existing network to Cohord?

For now, this is covered as part of Cohord's customer onboarding. The Cohord contractor team will take time to understand your network and commit to adding these contractors to Cohord (subject to RTW eligibility) and finalise onto your Benches.

Are contractors charged for Cohord access?

No. Following their onboarding, contractors pay £0. Their only cost is their contractual commitment to work with our agents and bots to keep their profile current as soon as any changes happen.

Cohord contractors will highlight their openness to 'inside' and 'outside' IR35 on their profile. If 'outside' is the primary designation, Cohord has an option upon booking a contractor to work with our IR35 expert partners to perform an objective and robust IR35 designation, for a small fee.

Are there any fees if I take a contractor on as a permanent employee?

No placement or non-solicitation fees. Cohord's ethos is to democratise the contract recruitment space, and 'temp to perm' is an integral part of that.
